The first records of this Hungarian locality are mentioned in 1075, during the rule of the king Géza I, but the full denomination used nowadays dates since the 19th century. In the center of the city there are a few churches built in neoclassical style, baroque and byzantine, where you can admire numerous works of art, of particular value, which make a real touristic attraction.
